Successful trip with the Rocky Mountain Sherpas.

The past week I was with the Rocky Mountain Sherpas (http://www.sherpascinema.com/) working on the "All I Can" project. We camped at 7500 feet and accessed all the lines with our touring gear, it was great to leave the machines behind. I have been spoiled over the years with accessing zones via snowmobile and helicopters, this trip made me realize how much I miss the ski touring side of our sport.
I am digging through photos right now, trying to get some things ready for the Pro Photographer Showdown, should be a great night with some amazing shows. Check out the line up here http://www.wssf.com/event/olympus-pro-photographer-showdown

Chest deep snow, sun and 2 stroke

Dan Treadway stomps after sending his Ski Doo Etec off this massive cliff. About an hour later, I decide to break my steering column with my chest.....there is a reason I am a photographer.

M114 155mm Howitzer.

When you are known as the snowiest place in Canada, you need some serious artillery to keep the highway safe. Last season on the way to Alaska, we visited a friend in Stewart B.C. who is one of the team that keeps highway 37A safe for locals and travelers.

Wow, only 5 months since my last update.....

Paul MacDougall, Josh Lyons and myself spent 10 days down in Rio Nexpa, Mexico at the start of November. Amazing small zone, with a great left point break and epic views.
Now back in Whistler, where todays temperature was -17 Celcius........
