Last Month I joined the Salomon Freeski TV crew on a trip to Last Frontier Heli, in the great white north of B.C. We sailed up the amazing Inside Passage from Port Hardy to Prince Rupert then took the incredible scenic drive to Bell 2 where we would spend the next week skiing some beautiful, huge terrain bordering Alaska. Our pilot Bert along with guide Colin managed to get us onto some gorgeous peaks and kept us very entertained.....some of the driest most ridiculous humor anyone could ask for.
The second leg of our trip was spent in Stewart B.C. where Last Frontier has another staging area for their operation, again, all time skiing with what seems to be unlimited terrain.
Last Frontier is a top notch operation, amazing skiing, top class accommodation, great staff with fine dining chefs that help you build your heli belly.

January in the Kootenays with Level 1 Productions.
The season in Whistler started with amazing snowfall through November and parts of December, but as January rolled in, the snow rolled out of Whistler...So I hit the road to the Kootenays. The Level 1 Productions crew, with Josh Bibby, Wiley Miller, Parker White and Freedle Coty had plans to access a bunch of hidden zones between Revelstoke and Nelson. These zones ended up being pretty all time, with waist deep snow for most of our trip.
